| Our Nursing Care Team at The Neurosurgery Group |
The Neurosurgery Group currently has four staffed regional
locations and eleven branch offices. Our nurses generally
work within specific offices for certain individual or
teams of physicians and travel to the branch offices as
needed for office hours.
Oakland Neurosurgical Division
Judy and Stacey provide clinical coverage for Dr. Ferraro, Dr. Ragoowansi, and Dr. Bonaroti.

Dr. Baghai and
Dr. Oliver-Smith do not have nurses employed at the Allegheny
General office. Dr. Baghai’s patients may contact his Physician
Assistant, Rebecca Bowman, for clinical care requests.

Somerset Division
Nancy manages Dr. Oliver-Smith’s
Somerset office and has been in nursing since 1968. You
may reach her at (814) 443-9783 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30
p.m. weekdays, except Thursdays when the office is closed.
Judy Bordone
Judy graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in 1971 where she was employed as a staff nurse and subsequently Head Nurse on the Neurosurgical Unit. She started her nursing career with Oakland Neurosurgical Associates in 1982, and currently works primarily with Dr. Ferraro and Dr. Ragoowansi.
Stacey Deemer
Stacey was with the ANSA division of the group since 1999, coming to the Oakland division in December 2005. She is a 1994 graduate of Citizen’s General Hospital and will complete her BSN in December 2007 through Penn State University. Stacey works with Dr. Bonaroti as his primary nurse.
