| Dr.
Christopher Y. Cai
– Chris was an incredible guy. He was an extremely
talented doctor who celebrated his 35th birthday in March,
2003. After leaving The Neurosurgery Group in 2003, he became
a practicing neurosurgeon at Kaiser in Redwood City, Calif.
Surgery was Chris' passion, second only to his family. Chris'
achievements were all the more impressive given his background.
Chris emmigrated from China to Utah as a teenager. He worked
to pay his way through college and medical school. In many
ways, Chris was a great example of the American dream.
After a long and heroic struggle, Chris died tragically
this year of a bone marrow disorder. The partners and staff
of The Neurosurgery Group deeply mourn his passing. Chris
is survived by his loving wife Amy and eight-month-old son –
our thoughts and prayers remain with Chris and his family.
A bone marrow donor might have saved Chris' life... sadly
a match could not be found. If you are interested in becoming
a bone marrow donor,
